Michael Keaton is an American actor, producer and director who is best known for his performance in the movie 'Birdman. He is a versatile actor who is able to play comedic as well as dramatic roles. He's also played some romantic characters as well as played in numerous action films during his professional career. His interest in the performing arts started when he was in his teen years. He began to try stand-up comedy during his 20s. Although his stand-up show wasn't a success, it did in the development of his acting. Because he could not to become an actor, he chose to become a television cameraman. As he was doing his work, he came to discover that he wanted to be on camera. When he was offered a part on TV, he starred on numerous shows of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was a natural actor who soon gained a lot of attention on television. With great ambitions, he started a film career and became famous in comedy role. The career of his character was further boosted when he won acclaim for his performance as Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. In time, his acting skills were improved, and he started to look into directing and producing. He received several awards and nominations for his performance in the 2014 film Birdman.
