Alexandra Maria Lara has been a German/Romanian television actress for more than a decade. Alexandra is known for the roles she played on Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Born as the only child from Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu Alexandra stepped into the world of show business early, and ended up acting in lead roles on various television dramas by the time she reached the age of 16. Her portrayal of Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated wartime historical film) was critically as well as critically acclaimed commercially. The other Oscar nominated films featuring the diva include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex.
